1. Sourcing
We buy watches from private owners and trusted trade sources. Before we agree to buy a watch, we ask for its history, any box, papers and service records, and clear photos of the case, dial, movement and serial numbers.
2. Serial and reference check
We check that the serial number and reference number match the model, dial, case and any papers supplied.
3. Physical inspection
- Case and bracelet: correct markings, hallmarks, finishing and fit for the reference.
- Dial and hands: correct printing, lume and hands for the model and era.
- Movement: where the case can be opened safely, we check that the calibre is correct for the model.
- Timekeeping: every watch is tested to confirm it runs and keeps time.
4. Honest description and photos
Every listing shows real photos of the actual watch you will receive, and states its condition, what is included (box, papers, extra straps) and any wear or marks. If something isn’t stated, ask us before you buy.
